Digital printed glass is the perfect way for designers, developers and architects to display creative and unique imagery onto internal design features. Our digital printed services are offered across all GEMM glass products, and designs can span over one or multi-panel configurations.
Benefits of digital printed glass include replacing the need for standard traditional tiles with digitally printed glass panels, ability to add bespoke patterns or images to glass splashbacks, personalising glass screens and doors with company branding, adding privacy to areas whilst maintaining the open space achieved by glass. Our glass panels feature an antimicrobial photocatalytic coating, helping to protect against viruses and further reduce the risk of bacteria being transferred from frequently touched surfaces.
How Digital Printing works
At GEMM London we offer Digital Vitrified Printed images, this technology allows us to print any design onto glass whilst maintaining its photographic quality. Ceramic inks are vitrified at 700°C and applied up to a 1024dpi resolution, obtaining high quality clear and defined imagery. GEMM Digital Glass printing services can accommodate glass from a thickness of 2.8mm to 19mm.
No fading or cracking
Illustrations and graphics are resistant to water and friction, allowing the final product to be resilient against surface damage and maintain its colour intensity and appearance.
